High Route from Ishinca Refugio to Pisco Refugio

Day 1: Arrive in Lima from your country of origin. Travel to Huaraz and to your hotel.
Day 2: Acclimatize to Huaraz. Visit the Churup Laguna, 4,485 meters.
Day 3: Travel from Huaraz to Pashpa in private transportation and wait for the muleteer and donkeys to carry the trekking equipment. Then begin the trek through the Ishinca Ravine toward the Ishinca Refugio, 4,350 meters. At base camp you will see the following snowcapped mountains: Tocllaraju, Urus, Ishinca, and Ocshapalca. The hike takes approximatley 4-5 hours to camp.
Day 4: On this day we return to the Refugio at 8:00 a.m. through the same ravine to go to the Joncopampa archeological site, 3,500 meters. The hike to camp takes 4-5 hours.
Day 5: Joncopampa to Shonquilpampa, 3,740 meters. On this day the route takes us to camp in the corner of the Cordillera Blanca Valley. The hike takes approximately 5-6 hours.
Day 6: Shonquilpampa to Auquis Cocha Laguna, 4,319 meters. We continue through the same Cordillera valley toward our camp in the Auquis Cocha Laguna. The hike to camp takes approximately 6-7 hours.
Day 7: Auquis Cocha Laguna to Ulta Quebrada, 4,000 meters. We will see the snowcapped Huascaran, 6,768 meters. The hike takes approximately 5-6 hours.
Day 8: Ulta Quebrada to Huascaran Refugio, 4,700 meters. On this day we will visit the Huascaran Refugio, 4,700 meters. The hike to the camp takes approximately 5-6 hours.
Day 9: Huascaran Refugio to Llanganuco Chinan Cocha Lagunas and Orcon Cocha Laguna, 3,863 meters. Camp at Orcon Cocha Laguna. The hike takes approximately 6 -7 hours.
Day 10: Orcon Cocha to Pisco Refugio, 4,680 meters. The route takes us through the Llanganuco Ravine to the Refugio, and lasts 5-6 hours.
Day 11: Pisco Base Camp to Cebolla Pampa, 3,900 meters. On this day we ascend to Laguna 69, 4,680 meters. After visiting the Laguna, we descend through the ravine toward Cebolla Pampa camp, where we will wait for transportation to take us to Huaraz and your hotel. When you wish to return to Lima, we will take you from your hotel to the bus station, at which point our services end.
