Complete Circuit of the Cordillera Huayhuash

Day 1: Arrive in Lima from your country of origin, travel to Huaraz, and then go to your hotel
Day 2: Acclimatize by touring Huaraz and visiting the Laguna Churup at 4,480 meters.
Day 3: Travel from Huaraz to Chiquian Llamac (3,300 meters). From this place, we will begin to walk the most important mountain range in Peru. We will camp at Matacancha at 4,180 meters. There we will wait for the muleteer for the donkeys and the trekking equipment. The hike takes approximately 5-6 hours.
Day 4: Matacancha (4,180 meters) to Mitucocha (4,230 meters). On this day we pass through the first Cacanan pass at 4,700 meters. From the camp we will have risen a level of 520 meters. Traveling from pass to pass we will pass through the Lagunas Pucacocha and Yanacocha, where we will the snowcapped peaks of Ninashanca (5,607 meters), Rondoy (5,870 meters) and Jirishanca (6,094 meters)
Day 5: Mitucocha (4,230 meters) to Carhuacocha (4,280 meters). We will cross the second Carhuac pass at 4,650 meters. From camp we will have risen 420 meters. From the pass we will see the north face of the snowcapped Carnicero at 5,960 meters, Sulla at 6,344 meters, Yerupaja at 6,634 meters and Toro. This day will take 5-6 hours until we arrive at the Carhuacocha camp with a view of the said snowcapped mountains.
Day 6: Carhuacocha (4,280 meters) to Huayhuash (4,300 meters). This is the hardest day of the trek in which we will walk 7-8 hours. The trail leads us between the four Lagunas toward the viewpoint. After the viewpoint we will see the four Lagunas with different colors: Siulacocha, Small Quesillococha, Large Quesillococha, and Asulcocha. An hour and a half after leaving the viewpoing, we will arrive at the Siula Pass (4,800 meters) where we will see many snowcapped mountains. As we descend from the Pass we will see the snowcapped Carnicero (4,960 meters), Jurao (5,600 meters), Trapecio (5,644 meters)
Day 7: Huayhuash (4,300 meters) to Viconga (4,430 meters). On this day we will arrive at the Portachuelo Pass (4,750 meters). The elevation difference from camp is 450 meters. The hike lasts 5-6 hours until we reach the thermal baths of Viconga. We will take advantage of the baths in the afternoon and afterwards we will enjoy the Coca Tea.
Day 8: Viconga (4,430 meters) to Cuyocpampa (4,600 meters). On this day we will cross through the Cuyoc pass at 5,000 meters. The elevation difference from camp is 570 meters. From the Pass we will see the entire Raura and Huayhuash mountain ranges. The hike lasts 5-6 hours.
Day 9: Cuyoc Pampa (4,600 meters) to Huayllapa (3,640 meters). On this day we will cross the San Antonio Pass (5,200 meters). The elevation difference from camp is 600 meters. From the Pass we will see the south face of the snowcapped mountains already mentioned. The hike lasts 6-7 hours.
Day 10: Huayllapa (3,630 meters) to Angushcancha (4,320 meters) On this day we cross the Tapush Pass (4,800 meters). There is 1,170 meters distance from Huayllapa to the Pass. After 10 minutes from the Pass we wil see the famous snowcapped Dayblo Mudo (5,350 meters). The hike lasts 6-7 hours until arriving at camp.
Day 11: Angushcanch (4,320 meters) to Laguna Jahuacocha (4,100 meters). We will pass the penultimate Yaucha Pass (4,800 meters). The elevation difference from camp is 480 meters. The hike lasts 4-5 hours until we arrive at Laguna Jahuacocha, where we will see the snowcapped mountains mentioned on the first day.
Day 12: Jahuacocha (4,100 meters) to Llamac (3,300 meters). We will cross the last Pass, Pampa Llamac (4,300 meters). The elevation distance from camp is 200 meters. After the pass, we will descend 1,000 meters to Llamac. In Llamac we will wait for transportation to take us to Huaraz and your hotel. On your departure date for Lima we will transport you from your hotel to the bus station, which will be the end of our service.
