Climbing Mt. Vicos and Mt. Paccharaju

Day 1: Arrive in Lima from your country of origin. On the same day travel to Huaraz and to your hotel.
Day 2: Travel from Huaraz by private transportation to Vicos. From here we will begin our hike along a zig-zag road to Mt. Vicos Base Camp. The hike takes 5-6 hours.
Day 3: We will begin ascending at 4:00 a.m. along the easy ridge to the summit, 5,315 meters. After the summit we will descend to Base Camp.
Day 4: We will travel to Paccharuripampa, 4,180 meters. We will hike along the Honda Quebrada for 5-6 hours.
Day 5: Paccharuripampa to Mt. Paccharaju Base Camp, 4,680 meters. The route takes us through pastures and trees until we arrive at Base Camp next to Paccharuri Lagune. The hike takes 5-6 hours.
Day 6: We will ascend from Base Camp to Mt. Paccharaju Camp One, 4,950 meters. The hike takes 4-5 hours.
Day 7: We will ascend at 3:00 a.m. along the ridge, which is just a little technical. We will hike along a zig-zag route until we reach the summit, 5,751 meters. Afterward we will return to Base Camp. The climb takes 11-12 hours.
Day 8: We will return to Portada, where transportation will be waiting to take us to Huaraz and to your hotel. At the cited date and time of your departure for Lima, we will take you from your hotel to the bus station, at which point our service ends.
