Chacas – Quebrada Honda/Mt. Urus – Ishinca

Day 1: Arrive in Lima from your country of origin. Travel to Huaraz and then to your hotel.
Day 2: Travel by public transportation from Huaraz to Punpey, 3,800 meters. We will meet the muleteer and donkeys that will carry our trekking equipment. We will hike along the Juitush Quebrada to Portada Camp, 4,135 meters. The hike takes 5-6 hours.
Day 3:Juitish, 4,135 meters to Coralpampa, 4,300 meters. Today we cross over the Portachuelo de Honda Pass, 4,750 meters. We climb 615 meters to this pass. From there, we will see mountains such as Aquilpo, Tocllaraju, Chinchey, Pucaranra, Rataquenua and the entirety of the Honda valley. The hike takes 7-8 hours.
Day 4: Coralpampa, 4,300 meters to Joncopampa, 3,340 meters. Today we walk through the entire Honda Valley, visiting the Ishipanca and Paccharuri waterfalls. Afterwards we arrive at Joncopampa camp. The hike takes 6-7 hours.
Day 5: Joncopampa to the base camp of Mt. Urus and Ishinca. The base camp is 4,350 meters. The hike takes 5-6 hours.
Day 6: We will begin climbing to the summit of Mt. Urus, 5,495 meters, at 3:00 a.m. Afterwards we will return to base camp. The climb takes 8-9 hours.
Day 7: Also today we will ascend at 3:00 a.m. for the summit of Mt. Ishinca, 5,530 meters. Afterwards we will return to base camp. The climb takes 10-11 hours.
Day 8: We leave base camp for Pashpa and then Huaraz. We will return along the same route that we took in. At Pashpa transportation will be waiting to take us to Huaraz and to your hotel. At the cited day and time of your departure for Lima, we will pick you up and take you to the bus terminal, at which point our service ends.
