Day 1: Arrive in Lima from your country of origin. Travel to Huaraz and then to your hotel.
Day 2: Travel by public transportation from Huaraz to Punpey, 3,800 meters. We will meet the muleteer and donkeys that will carry our trekking equipment. We will hike along the Juitush Quebrada to Portada Camp, 4,135 meters. The hike takes 5-6 hours.
Day 3:Juitish, 4,135 meters to Coralpampa, 4,300 meters. Today we cross over the Portachuelo de Honda Pass, 4,750 meters. We climb 615 meters to this pass. From there, we will see mountains such as Aquilpo, Tocllaraju, Chinchey, Pucaranra, Rataquenua and the entirety of the Honda valley. The hike takes 7-8 hours.
Day 4: Coralpampa, 4,300 meters to Ilinllipampa, 3,440 meters. We will hike through the Honda valley visiting the Ishipancca and Paccharuri waterfalls. Aftward, we will arrive at Joncopampa Camp. The hike takes 6-7 hours.
Day 5: Ilinllipampa, 3,440 meters to base camp of Mt. Vicos. We will hike along a zig-zag route to arrive at base camp. The hike takes 5-6 hours.
Day 6: We will leave at 4:00 a.m. to climb to the summit of Mt. Vicos, 5,315 meters. We will then descend to base camp of Mt. Copa. The climb takes 8-9 hours.
Day 7: Base camp to Camp 1 on Mt. Copa, 5,350 meters. The climb takes 4-5 hours.
Day 8: We leave at 3:00 a.m. for a guided climb to the summit of Mt. Copa, 6,188 meters. The climb takes 9-10 hours. After the summit we will return to base camp.
Day 9: We hike from the base camp to the town of Vicos, where transportation will be waiting to take us to Huaraz and then to your hotel. At the cited date and time of your departure for Lima we will pick you up and take you to the bus terminal, at which point our services end.
