Day 1: Arrive in Lima from your country of origin. Travel to Huaraz and to your hotel.
Day 2: Travel by public transportation from Huaraz to Punpey, 3,800 meters. We will wait there for the muleteer and the donkeys to transport the trekking equipment. From there we will begin our hike through the Juitush Ravine and arrive at our first camp, 4,135 meters. The hike takes 5-6 hours.
Day 3: Juitush, 4,135 meters to Coralpampa, 4,300 meters. On this day we will travel over the Portachuelo de Honda Pass, 4,750 meters. The elevation increases 615 meters from the camp to the Pass. From the Pass we will see the snowcapped mountains such as Aquilpo, Tocllaraju, Chinchey, Pucaranra, Rataquenua, and the entire Honda Valley. The hike takes 7-8 hours.
Day 4: Coralpampa, 4,300 meters to Hurancancha, 3,340 meters. We will only walk one hour and then wait for transportation to take us back to Huaraz. On the way we can take advantage of a shower in the thermal baths and then we will continue to Huaraz and your hotel. On the date you wish to return to Lima we will take you from your hotel to the bus station, at which point our services end.
